My Testimony with Homemade Suppositories & Coconut Probiotic Balm
“Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.”
— 3 John 1:2 (KJV)

Healing can start in the most unexpected ways.
For years, I’ve wrestled quietly with symptoms of IBS, episodes of bleeding likely from internal hemorrhoids, and the deep discomfort that comes from constipation. I prayed for wisdom and gentle healing—not more harsh treatments or medications, but something the Lord might have already placed in His creation.
That’s when I began experimenting with homemade suppositories using:
- About 1/2 cup Organic, unrefined coconut oil
- 3-6 Tablets High-quality probiotic ( Safe Brands; Klaire Labs Ther-biotic Complete, Smidge Probiotic, Seeking Health)
- 4-6 Drops essential oils, like frankincense and lavender
These ingredients are more than natural—they’re nurturing. They bring calm and comfort to the colon, reduce inflammation, and help restore balance in ways I never thought possible.
Why It Works
1. Coconut Oil:
Coconut oil is a God-given treasure. It’s naturally antibacterial, antifungal, and anti-inflammatory (1). It melts at body temperature, making it the perfect carrier for both probiotics and essential oils in a suppository form. It soothes irritated tissues and gently coats the colon walls—bringing instant comfort.
2. Probiotics (Delivered Rectally):
Most oral probiotics are destroyed by stomach acid before they ever reach the colon. But when delivered rectally, they bypass the digestive gauntlet and go right where they’re needed—supporting the colon’s microbiome. (Here again are the safe brands; Klaire Labs Ther-biotic Complete, Smidge Probiotic, Seeking Health. Safe because they dont have any fillers or additives, and are pure.)(2), They are helpful to ease IBS symptoms (3), and calming inflammation from conditions like ulcerative colitis or even chronic constipation.
3. Essential Oils (Frankincense & Lavender):
- Frankincense has been shown to reduce inflammation, kill harmful bacteria, and even support tissue regeneration (4).
- Lavender soothes irritated skin, calms nerve endings, and also has antimicrobial power (5).
Together, they bring healing comfort to places that are often hidden, hurting, and in need of tender care.
How I Make Mine
I gently melt a few tablespoons of coconut oil, stir in:
- The powder from 2-3 probiotic capsules
- 2-4 drop each of lavender and frankincense essential oil
I pour the mixture into small silicone molds and freeze them. They’re ready in an hour and can be stored in the freezer in a container for weeks. Be careful to use safe molds. Not just any mold can be used. You will be putting a warm oil in it, so silicone would really be best. Don’t use ice molds.
Real Results: My Testimony
I’ve been using these for several weeks now. Here’s what I’ve experienced:
- The bleeding has nearly stopped. I used to see it regularly, and now it’s only rarely and much less severe.
- Constipation is no longer a daily battle. The soothing effect of the oil, plus the probiotic support, has helped my digestion become gentler and more regular.
- My colon doesn’t feel raw anymore. That might sound odd to say, but if you’ve struggled with IBS or internal hemorrhoids, you know exactly what I mean.
- And here’s the surprise: My puppy bit my nose, and two days later, a strange itchy rash began to form on the rim. I dabbed a bit of this mixture on it—just the coconut oil, probiotics, and oils—and it began to heal immediately. That rash cleared in less than two days. It seems this blend isn’t just for the inside—it can calm skin conditions, too.
A Temple Tended with Care
We are fearfully and wonderfully made. Sometimes tending our temple means learning what God has already placed in nature for our healing. I thank Him for coconut trees, probiotic wisdom, and the fragrant plants that give us oils to calm and restore.
“For the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the nations.”
— Revelation 22:2 (KJV)
If you’ve been struggling with your gut, with pain or bleeding, or even mysterious skin issues—consider this gentle, holy remedy. Always pray over it, and check with a trusted natural health professional if you need support.
Healing doesn’t always have to come in a bottle. Sometimes, it comes in a balm made with reverence and love.

Hi. Lina

May God Bless you greatly. 🙏🏼
Hi there,
Thank you for your kind words, Mother 🙂
I very much am an eye baller. So i will give you a rough idea of how I made them.
This is for a bigger batch. There is a smaller recipe on the post.
Start with: About 1/2 cup Organic Coconut Oil, gently melted
4-6 Drops Each of Lavender+ Frankincense Essential Oils
3-5 Tablets Probiotics (Ones you would take orally, Just break open for the powder)
Stir and Pour into molds. Here is a link for the silicone molds I use, https://amzn.to/44Qtk2m
Also Here are the probiotics that are safe to use: Brands; Klaire Labs Ther-biotic Complete, Smidge Probiotic, Seeking Health
All of these are pure and void of fillers and additives. More costly but worth it and necessary for suppositories.
Let your melted oil cool till its not burning hot. You dont want to kill the good guys in your probiotics!
