Balancing Blood Sugar Naturally
Balanced blood sugar is one of the foundations of steady energy, clear thinking, and long-term health. When our blood sugar swings too high or too low, it can lead to fatigue, mood changes, cravings, and over time, even more serious conditions.
Through prayerful research and personal experience, I’ve found a few natural supplements that help my body stay steady and supported. I want to share these with you today, with the hope they may guide and bless your wellness journey.
Berberine
Berberine is a natural compound found in certain plants. It has been shown to help regulate blood sugar by supporting insulin sensitivity and improving how our cells use glucose.
I use berberine before meals, especially meals that are higher in carbohydrates, to help keep my blood sugar in a healthy range. It also supports healthy cholesterol and triglyceride levels, which is an added blessing for heart health.
Turmeric (Curcumin)
Turmeric is well known for its anti-inflammatory properties, but it also has a role in metabolic health. Chronic inflammation can worsen blood sugar imbalance, and turmeric helps calm this process.
I take turmeric daily as part of my routine to support joint health, heart health, and balanced metabolism.
Uric Cleanse
Uric Cleanse is a combination formula that helps the body clear excess uric acid. While it’s often recommended for joint health and kidney support, it also plays a role in metabolic balance, as high uric acid levels can be associated with blood sugar challenges.
I’ve found it supportive during times when I want to gently cleanse and support my kidney along with balancing metabolism. I am always doing what I can to support the one kidney I have. I lost my left kidney when I was 14yrs old. I have been told recently that my kidney is functioning very well. So I truly believe the support I show it has made all the difference!
